Hello fellow foodies! So, my family and I took a trip to Italy last night. Not literally, although I wish we would have, but the food was just as good. We went to Caputo Brothers Creamery for one of their “Touring Italy” dinners. It was our first time going, but we will definitely be back – delicious food, great wine, and even better company – what more could you want!
Hope you enjoy your trip to the Sorrentine Coast: 🙂
You know the meal will be good when there’s a lot of forks 🙂
Formaggi E Salumi Misti: First course was an assortment of meat, cheese, and pickled vegetables.
Zeppole Saporito: Savory fried dough puffs with mozzarella and tomato
Insalata Caprese: Fresh mozzarella and tomatoes – one of my favorites!
A treat: fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with cheese and speck.
Spaghetti Alla Nerano: Spaghetti with zucchini and a sauce of Caputo Brothers Creamery Cheeses – my absolute favorite of the evening, so yummy!
Frittata Di Maccheroni: Baked pasta with peas and prosciutto.
Spigola Nera in Crosta Di Sale: Black Sea Bass baked in a salt crust on top of zucchini – so good!
Granita D’Anguria: watermelon ice with local blueberries – very refreshing and light after a big delicious meal!
Limoncello: a special treat to finish the meal 🙂
I hope that you enjoyed this “trip” to Italy – checkout their website for some upcoming dinners. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!
Side note: I did not receive any compensation for this post – just love their cheese, their food, and their message 🙂
looks luscious. We had fried zucchini flowers our last meal in Rome. We had with Oxtail. And fried artichoke. We also had something called Malfatti.I will let you figure that one out. I have a picture of that.
Sounds delicious! Can’t wait to hear all about your trip next time I see you!
This looks delicious! I hope you experiment with the zucchini pasta and share your recipe.
Oh you know I definitely will 🙂
